There was an interesting article in today’s eMarketer Newsletter about a survey of marketing decision-makers done in March 2011 called “A Client’s Look Ahead at Agencies.” It showed 67% of the decision-makers felt that digital marketing agencies need to offer more traditional services, and 50% of them thought that full service advertising agencies will get more business over the next three to five years than strictly digital agencies.

We at LGD Interactive & Social Media already see this to be true, since we’re part of LGD Communications – a traditional Miami advertising agency. As a digital agency that works with integrated marketing strategies, we’re able to offer clients a huge advantage over their competitors, who divvy up their sales & marketing activities among various consultants. There’s no way that such a fragmented approach can beat the machine that is created, when all sales & marketing, online and offline, is handled by one agency.
