LGD’s Rebranding of Meliá Hotels International’s Club Meliá

As Spain’s largest hotelier, Meliá Hotels International operates an impressive portfolio of hospitality brands around the world, including ME by Meliá Hotels & Resorts and Gran Meliá Hotels & Resorts, both created in collaboration with LGD. Our latest undertaking with MHI involves the total rebranding of Club Meliá, the worldwide vacation ownership brand that originated as a timeshare product decades ago.

Having digested the complexities of the new, points-based vacation ownership model, LGD distilled the product to its most immediate appeal–the infinite vacation.

Then, to counter the density of the material, we created branding that remains open, clean and simple. Always providing its own fresh air.

While many agencies tout brand building as a service, LGD is one of very few capable of delivering a full brand experience, well beyond name, logo and tagline.

Building a brand that’s unafraid to make promises and confident enough to deliver must be done in a highly collaborative way with lots of communication between agency and client.

Always the willing collaborator, LGD partnered once again with our client of many years to invent, create and articulate a new brand– one sufficiently bold enough to promise infinity.
