On Location, Location, Location Privé at Island Estates

The irony of residential pre construction real estate in Miami is that there is nothing very ‘real’ about it. In reality, of course, there is no such thing as the perfect place. But in the world of Privé, every place is perfect. It’s not a bad place to spend the work week.

As acknowledged real estate branding experts, our challenge is to interpret a developer’s particular vision of perfection and convey it to the world across all platforms. More and more, this has become a function of how much the developer is willing to invest in computer generated renderings. The best of these are incredibly accurate. Realistic, even. But realistic and real are two very different things. Our solution, often, is to combine the realism of renderings with the ‘feelism’ of photography.

As acknowledged real estate brand experts, our challenge is to interpret a developer’s particular vision of perfection and convey it to the world across all platforms.

So it was that we found ourselves cruising down the South Florida Intracoastal Waterway on a recent Monday afternoon, an unlikely flotilla consisting of a ravishing 73-foot yacht and a nimble 31-foot fishing boat. Our destination: Oleta River State Park. Our objective: capturing images and video to suggest the enviable lifestyle soon to be enjoyed at Privé™, a 180-unit condominium set to rise on South Florida’s last undeveloped private island.

In reality, the afternoon was muggy and oppressive, even on the water. The yacht was too big to navigate the last 300 meters to the island. Our deserted beach was fully occupied. The walkie talkies were squawky. The police interrupted with various threats and admonishments. There were bug bites, sunburns…broken flip flops.

And yet, through the lens, all was perfect. It’s hard to believe it was all for real…estate.
